What an incredible event! I have never seen anything like it and I am so glad to be a part of such a creative and talented group! Picture this: Raleigh Marriott, evening, drinks, heavy h’or d’oeurves, and a candy bar, dancing and great people! We had lots of door prizes, which one of them was from Tesh Parekh, of Tesh’s Wedding and Event Paintings. It was the same location where we photographed Sonja and Brian’s wedding ~ and the look was totally different. It was a Dr. Seuss themed party and the team that coordinated the event knocked it out of the park! Every year, the 3 groups get together to host the holiday event. It was an evening of relaxing and for everyone to have fun and celebrate the awesome year that is almost behind us. I picked up on a sense of relief that the year was coming to an end, but also of a sense of excitement
Festive event
for 2010 (maybe it was just me!). Tesh painted a scene from the event and it was awesome. Carrie Peele, from Blue Diamond Limousine won the painting and was very excited about it. I told her that she should hang it in one of her limos! Tesh was able to paint and was also able to take pictures from time to time to capture the step by step work that he did to complete the painting. After completing the painting, he had it matted and framed before Tracy had Carrie’s name called out. We met a lot of new folks that we hadn’t had the opportunity to meet with yet, and we were also able to see our longtime friends, such a John, with Creative Visions, Will with CE Rental, Michael, with Fleurtations, Dominick and Laura with Forever Bridal, Tracy with Adams and Events, Gail with Premiere Catering and Events, Carol Klenke with Classic Party Rentals, and Lenny with Touch of Class DJ’s to name a few.
