The Satak was the second event I photographed. The venue for Satak was Johnston County Agricultural Center (Smithfield, NC). Both the bride and groom hold their own Satak ceremonies separately. At the end of the Satak ceremony, bride and groom’s mamas and mamis bring the Moshaal, wedding dresses and other gifts. The groom’s side visits bride’s ceremony venue. The Surati groom is not easy to please! As with other Surati wedding events, there are many religious and social rituals. I normally post images which tell the story of bride and groom.
The Satak was scheduled in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day so we managed to do a quick outdoor session for the couple. I left at the dinner time. The ceremony was scheduled at The Grand Marquise Ballroom (Garner, NC) next day in the morning…
