Sneha and Ashu’s fun wedding reception at the Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh NC! I had photographed their Indian Ceremony earlier in the day. The vendor team was the same. DJ Rang (DJ and Lighting), Blooming Buds (Decorations), and Imagique (Cinematography). Additionally, there was a cigar roller at the reception!
This was a long day for me! I had started working at 7 AM! There was a little break between the ceremony and reception- I worked during that time to download the images and get my gear ready for the reception.
Prior to the reception, I did a session for the wedding party, family and the couple. We did this outdoors. It was overcast and cool! Quite a welcome change from hot days!
The cocktail reception coverage followed. And then the wedding party was announced. Most of the dance performances, speeches and toasts had taken place during Henna and Sangeet. However, there were couple of speeches by the family members. There was first dance and cake cutting. Once the dinner was served, it was non-stop fun! DJ Rang did a great job at this party, as you can see from many fun images below! I like to move around and shoot from different angles. So, I enjoyed the photography at this party since the dance floor was spacious and there was plenty of room around the tables. The couple made sparkler exit.
Congratulations to Sneha and Ashu! I enjoyed capturing their elaborate Indian wedding! Mica and I met so many new people. We love photographing weddings and I hope this shows in our work…
